The Birth of Way Station Ministries
About the Founder
My journey into ministry began in one of the hardest seasons of my life.
After experiencing the heartbreak of betrayal, emotional abuse, and abandonment, I found myself facing an uncertain future as a single mother of three daughters. I was carrying not only my own pain but also the responsibility of protecting, providing for, and rebuilding a life for my children. Like so many women, I wrestled with rejection, fear, and questions about my identity and purpose.
But God met me in that place.
What felt like the end of my story became the beginning of His greater purpose. Through His unfailing love and the truth of His Word, Jesus began healing my heart, renewing my mind, and restoring my identity. He showed me that my worth was never determined by what had been done to me or what others believed about me—it was found in Him.
Today, I serve as a Registered Nurse with more than 15 years of experience, a Licensed Minister with the Assemblies of God, and a Certified Mental Health Coach. These roles have deepened my passion for caring for the whole person—body, mind, and spirit—and have equipped me to walk alongside women with both compassion and biblical truth.
As God continued to restore my life, He also gave me a burden for other single mothers walking similar roads. Every opportunity to share my testimony became a reminder that God doesn't waste our pain. He redeems it. What once felt like my greatest weakness became a testimony of His faithfulness and a source of hope for women longing to experience the same healing.
That calling led to the founding of Way Station Ministries. My prayer is that every woman who comes through Way Station Ministries will discover what I did: that no matter how difficult the journey has been, God is still writing her story. Healing is possible. Hope is real. And your identity is secure in Christ.
Because every journey needs a place to pause, heal, and rise.

Core Values
1. Abiding in Christ
"I am the vine, you are the branches; the one who remains in Me, and I in him bears much fruit, for apart from Me you can do nothing." — John 15:5 (NASB)
We believe lasting transformation begins by abiding in Jesus Christ. He is our source of strength, wisdom, peace, and hope. Everything we do flows from a personal relationship with Him.
2. Building Connection
"Beyond all these things put on love, which is the perfect bond of unity. Let the peace of Christ...rule in your hearts...and be thankful." — Colossians 3:14–15 (NASB)
We believe healing happens in authentic relationships. We are committed to creating a safe, grace-filled community where women are seen, heard, loved, encouraged, and never have to walk alone.
3. Restoring Hope
"Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that you will abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit." — Romans 15:13 (NASB)
We believe no life is beyond God's redemption. Through the truth of His Word, we help women rediscover hope, trusting that God is always working, even in life's most difficult seasons.
4. Empowering Women
"Now to Him who is able to do far more abundantly beyond all that we ask or think, according to the power that works within us, to Him be the glory..." — Ephesians 3:20–21 (NASB)
We believe God has uniquely created every woman with value, purpose, and potential. As women experience hope, healing, and wholeness, we encourage them to walk confidently in their identity and calling, empowered by the Holy Spirit.
